Designing new sounds for several pickups, working to the audio vision set out by Supervising Sound Designer Loic Couthier.
Updating these sounds was a mix between complete re-design and re-designing the iconic sounds from the original games.
Designing the engine layers unique to VR was about adding the power, energy and visceral elements expected from driving such a ship.
The new layers sits with the existing engines designed for the non VR experience.
